Bo & Christophe’s wedding was a timeless event. This stylish and perfectionist couple from the Belgian coast, and owners of a garden center, envisioned a colourful wedding. The result is a minimalist styling accentuated by striking flower arrangements, with the sea as a breathtaking backdrop.

Subtle elegance with big floral scapes for maximum impact

In recent years, we have seen wedding styles having increasingly featured bold flower trends: large, contrasting floral creations, that add color and impact. This Belgian couple chose a personal decoration style reflective of their tastes. Imagine luxurious fabrics, natural tones, wood, and white, contrasted with colorful bouquets and table decorations. The fuchsia centerpieces beautifully contrasted with the azure blue sea in the background, creating a balanced yet striking arrangement.

A shared experience

A multi-day event requires careful preparation and planning. Their celebration began with a catamaran sail, a perfect way for guests to relax and get in the mood. The following day was all about the wedding. Guests traveled in rented meharis and 2CV’s, a unique and fun way to explore the island.

Tip: Consider having all guests stay in the same hotel. Not only does it offer logistical advantages, but it also fosters a sense of community and enhances the atmosphere for the upcoming days. In this couple’s case, there were shared breakfasts, rooftop aperitifs, and poolside relaxation.

The wedding venues were nothing short of spectacular. The ceremony took place in the understated St. Augustine Church where we had arranged for a cozy tapas bar on exit. The beach of Cala Tarida was the picturesque setting for the photo shoot. The grand finale was the reception, featuring a panoramic sea view and freely flowing wines.
