GETTING MARRIED IN IBIZA

No longer considered a luxury, Ibiza wedding planners are now essential to take the stress out of getting married in Ibiza.

Take the stress out of getting married in Ibiza

Getting married in Ibiza is a dream for many couples and the team behind Ibiza Cloud 9 are here to help make it come true. From beautiful beachside blessings and rustic countryside celebrations to elegant sit-down dinners and incredible events hosted in ultra-private and discreet secret locations – there are a multitude of options to consider when getting married in Ibiza.

Enlisting on-island experts to help with the challenges faced when planning a destination wedding is fundamental to your event’s success and we have more than a decade’s worth of insider knowledge, trusted supplier relationships and on-the-ground experience with event planning and management. Our multilingual team also assist with any language barriers associated with getting married in Ibiza.

When is the best time to get married in Ibiza?

Ibiza is a sun-drenched island with over 300 days of sunshine per year; that being said, some of those days are far too hot and others are during the island’s off-season, so venue and supplier options may be limited. Based on our experiences, we recommend getting married in Ibiza in May, June or September for the lovely warm temperatures and the golden sunlight.

Why should we use a wedding planner when getting married in Ibiza?

Planning a wedding can be daunting; planning a wedding in a foreign country even more so. Enlisting a wedding planner takes away any day-to-day stress associated with language barriers and saves you time while giving you access to tried, tested and trusted venues and suppliers. Having a team on the ground to represent you while you’re not on the island is invaluable when you’re planning on getting married in Ibiza.

Is getting married in Ibiza legally recognised if we don’t live there?

One or both of you must be a member of the Catholic faith for a church ceremony to be legally recognised when getting married in Ibiza, or an official Ibiza resident for a civil ceremony to be recognised. Spiritual blessings are not legally recognised. You will need to hold a civil ceremony in your home country for the union to become official, either before or after your Ibiza wedding.

What type of packages do you offer couples getting married in Ibiza?

Due to the nature of the service we provide, we don’t offer any standard packages to couples getting married in Ibiza. We prefer to work on a completely bespoke basis, tailoring the wedding planning process to your needs and desires. As a general guide, you can choose from our full service, bespoke service or event styling service and start from there.
